The Columbia Arts Academy offers
music lessons in:

Guitar, Violin, Piano, Drums, Voice, Bass

RATES

Private Lessons:
$80.00 a month for weekly 30 minute sessions.
Recommended for teens and adults.

$160.00 a month for weekly 60 minute sessions.
Recommended for the serious student.


All fees must be paid by pre-authorized debit, pre-authorized credit cards or auto draft.

There is a one time registration fee of $20.00

Lessons are available Monday through Thursday
11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Fridays 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Saturdays 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The office is open Monday-Thursday 3 p.m.-8 p.m.
Fridays 2 p.m.-7 p.m. and Saturdays by appointment.

Students can study a mixture of styles but are encouraged to choose a main area of interest.

ROCK
Learn how to improvise, solo, improve your ear, play songs just by listening and be in your own band.
Sight reading is encouraged but not required. Any type of guitar will work but electric is recommended.

JAZZ

Focus on jazz theory, improvisation, ear training, sight reading and developing the ability to play with others.
Electric guitar recommended, but any is acceptable. Former students have gone on
to study at leading college and high school guitar programs.



 

CLASSICAL
Focus on classical (fingerstyle) technique, music reading, performance, musical confidence and alleviation of performance anxiety. Nylon string guitar required. Former students have gone on to study at leading college and high school guitar programs.

BLUES & COUNTRY

All styles available.

BASS GUITAR
Learn rock, jazz or blues bass guitar. Focus can be on sightreading, ear training, reading jazz charts, learning rock songs and being able to play in a real band. Electric Bass or Acoustic Bass
(no double) required.
